Who are we?
We are a group of designers, developers, and creatives, and we have always loved fantasy, sci-fi, and especially games. We were lucky enough to experience the golden age of gaming.
We grew up playing legends such as Prince of Persia, SimCity, Civilization, Syndicate, Doom, Wolfenstein, Gothic, Age of Empires, X-COM, Command & Conquer, Fallout, Half-life, Baldur’s Gate, Warcraft, Neverwinter Nights, Heroes of Might and Magic, Diablo or The Elder Scrolls series. And that’s just a shortlist of the greatest games that have given us unforgettable experiences during many LAN parties with friends.
Around the year 2 000, many famous brands and franchises were born that are still alive today thanks to the communities. Games were developed by enthusiastic people who wanted to play them themselves.
Players were in the first place. Unfortunately, this trend has started to fade away in recent years, with shareholders' wallets coming first, pushing game developers into releasing incomplete or half-baked games. Too bad.
Just think of the most notorious recent examples that have received the most media attention. The fiasco of Activision Blizzard's remaster of Warcraft 3: Reforged, the yuppie life of Bioware's Anthem, or the terrible launch of one of the most anticipated games of recent times - Cyberpunk 2077.
